| Posted : Mon, August 31, 2009 07:49 PM e10 evaporates much faster on normal temperatures than regular petrol fuel. its ok to use E10 on carb engines but considering that the carburetor is an open circuit, e10 readily evaporates. which means when you fill up your tank and park it at an open parking lot without shade under the sun, expect the fual level to dwindle a little. unlike fuel injected engines with airtight system. petrol fumes are vent out through fuel system canisters, preventing too much fuel evaporation.
